Waste

NOVA Spektrum takes environmental responsibility seriously and is committed to facilitating an environmentally friendly exhibition center.

Waste management for exhibitors

Waste containers are available inside the exhibition center during setup and dismantling. During the event, waste containers are located between halls C–D and D–E.

Waste is sorted into seven categories:

  • Cardboard/paper
  • Metal
  • Wood
  • Hazardous waste
  • Electrical and electronic waste (EE waste)
  • Plastic
  • Residual waste

Blue containers are for residual waste, green containers are for cardboard/paper, there are dedicated racks for plastic, and wood should be placed on pallets.

Hazardous chemicals

The organizer must ensure that each exhibitor is aware of hazardous chemicals and that these can be replaced with less hazardous alternatives or other methods (the substitution principle), in accordance with:

Product Regulations FOR 2004-06-01 no. 922

Chemical Regulations FOR-2001-04-30-433
